Pirates Baseball Club is proud to offer a welcoming and inclusive junior baseball program for players of all ages and experience levels. Whether your child is brand new to baseball or continuing their development, our junior program focuses on skill-building, confidence, teamwork, and — most importantly — having fun.
Our junior program is open to boy and girls, new and returning players of all skill levels. No prior baseball experience is required - just a willingness to learn, have fun and be part of a team.
-
Junior baseball games are typically played on Saturday afternoons at Jabiru Park.
Game length and format vary depending on age group to ensure games are fun, engaging, and age-appropriate.
Buddy League & Modified T-Ball: Shorter games with a strong focus on participation and enjoyment
Little League Minors & Little League Majors: Structured games with increased skill development and rules
Game times and fixtures will be confirmed once the season draw is released.
-
Junior teams train once per week.
Training days are Wednesday afternoons at Jabiru Park in Condon, with times confirmed closer to the start of the season, based on team numbers, age groups, and field availability.
Training focuses on:
Skill development (e.g., throwing, hitting, catching, running)
Game awareness and teamwork
Building confidence and a love of the game
-
We offer junior baseball programs for a range of ages and experience levels:
Buddy League (3-6 year)– introductory baseball for our youngest players
Modified T-ball (6-8 years) – a transition from T-Ball to live play (hitting from a tee to live hitting).
Little League Minors (8-10 years) – structured baseball with modified rules
Little League Majors (10-13 years) – advanced juniors preparing for higher-level play
C-Grade (14+) - please refer to senior competition page for more details
Age group allocations are based on age cut-offs and registrations and will be confirmed prior to the season.
-
